Other says, sunset gives us one day less to live.. but for me, it reminds us to pause and reflect, because every matter comes to an end. And watching sunset is one of the best way to end your year right.
And if we happened to be in the same boat, here's one of the Southeast Asian Countries has to offer.. Thailand also known as "the land of the free",coast of Krabi will be a delight for you.
Sunset at Phra Nang Beach, Thailand |
Jump shot before the sun truly sets down |
Before 2015 year ends, from Malaysia, we decided to go to Thailand for some beach bumming. And from our hotel, Krabi City View, my sister booked us the Seven Islands Sunset Tour
(that's what they called the tour however it's not actually seven islands). It cost us 900 Thai baht plus 400 for Environmental fee if you wanted to include Tup and Poda Islands. The tour started at 12:30 pm by picking us from the hotel and ended around 8:30 in the evening.

Ao Nammao Pier |
From krabi, we were directed to Ao Nang, travel time is around 30-minute. There, we were given snorkel gears and we waited for our boat.
This is called a long tail boat, Thai's traditional sea transport but the boat we used for the tour is the bigger one |
Us in the boat :D |
On our way to the first snorkel stop, the Taming Island |
Me doing the selfie underwater :D |
Our mom, making sure Thailand's beach memory is being captured hahaha |
We passed by the Chicken Island |
And our second stop is at the Poda Island for rock and cliff diving..
This is one of the highlight of the day trip wherein you'll have to climb up the rock and jump into the water. Really, not for the faint-heart peeps :)
Our last stop is at the Phra Nang Beach where Phra Nang Cave is also most visited. This is also where you can marvel and photograph the golden sunset :)
A shrine built by local people who believe and hold faith in the princess of the Phra Nang cave. |
Inside the Phra Nang cave, you can see special gift from the people such as the "lingam" , a carved wood which is a belief that will create fertility and prosperity to the whole earth and mankind.

Me Exploring Phra Nang Cave |
Our tour ended by a savory meal and a close encounter with the plankton (bio-luminescent swimming).
How I always admire this kind of landscape,.which makes me understand why every sunset brings the promise of a new dawn.
And as new year fast approached, here's a little tip; don't waste time by just getting laid back now.. get some dirt, find your way, dip in the sea and enjoy the sunset! Because every one deserves the beauty of it :D
