It was our 2nd day of Island hopping in El Nido, Palawan; new set of islands, new tour guide, new experience. Everyone’s really excited, me most especially. So we climbed up our boats, ready our cameras and chitchat with our newly meet foreign friends, while our boatmen drove us to the Island of Matinloc, our first stop.
After unlocking the mysteries at the island of Matinloc, Kuya Ding {tour guide} seemed to hear our roaring tummies. So we sailed to Talisay Island, where the buffet was served.
“Our boat is coming! Give way!”
As we jumped off the boat, the first thought in my mind was, “Hello, United Nation!”.
Cost would probably the usual question in mind when planning for a trip. That is why we made sure that before we arrived to Palawan for our 5 days- 5 nights Trip, everything was pre-planned including how much would it cost for our individual tours, lodging, transportation, food {of course} and souvenirs.
After an hour of driving, we finally set our feet in our short but sweet escape to Southwinds Resort, in Laguna.
Southwinds Resort is located at foot of the legendary Mount Makiling. It’s a nice place to chill and get off from the busy ambiance in the office. It has 5 nice pools (5ft, 4ft, and 3ft and (2) Kiddie Pool), rooms for couples and families, a videoke, and a convenient store.
Before going in, we first settled our bills at the lounge area. Here are their rates (as of December 7, 2012)
Been catching my breath since I reached the finished line. That was about 6:15 am and I can tell you the experience was awesome!
Yes, the 5K Red Crab Run is our first official run and we could say, definitely worth the preparation. For only a few bucks, you got to enjoy from Red Crab Singlet…
Venue at Piazza Venice,McKinley Hill, Taguig City…
Up to the Finisher’s Medal…
Not to mention benefits we could reap from a good cardio exercise, running, such as burning calories (probably means weight loss), endurance, boost of immune system, increase metabolism, and psychological effect the so called “runner’s high” feeling of euphoria…
Our heartfelt gratitude to Red Crab for organizing the first ever running and eating event. We do enjoy the hearty breakfast served by very accommodating personnel and the loot bag
Priceless indeed for the first time runners such as us.
Looking forward for our next run. You better not think twice, yes you, schedule your run dude
