Grand Villa in Pateros

Because semestral break is about to end, we decided to grab the chance to have fun and just enjoy our remaining holidays together at Grand Villa Hotel in the busy street of Pateros (the famous land for its balut or fertilized egg). 

I never expected that the location would be easy as pie to locate. It’s a 15 minute ride if you’re coming from our house, which is in Makati. If you’re coming from Guadalupe Station, ride a Pateros Jeep (P10) then hopped off when you reach Jollibee. From there,  its just a walking distance.

This is the façade of the Grand Villa as you enter the gate. On its side are stores where you can buy stuff such as food, shirt, toiletries and even school supplies, if ever you forgot to bring one.

The Grand Villa has FREE and secure WIFI. They also offer snacks and drinks, but no worries if you wanna bring your own.

What I love about the villa are the existence of full grown money plants. A friend once gave sister and I such plant. We put it on the window, beside our bed. These plants are easy to maintain. Most of the time, we missed to water them but still they continue to grow. Now, that I saw a full grown money plant, I’m more than excited to water ours daily! haha!

This is the main entrance of the villa. The design impressed me as I love the combination of brown and white. You see, inside is the receiving area/lounge where we sat comfortably, waited for the other girls, took photos and used free wifi.

This is the information counter for inquiries and settling of bills. Entrance, by the way is P100 for swimming. Swimming hours is from 8am-11pm. There are also function rooms, suites, deluxe, executive and superior rooms available.

And finally, the swimming pool area. There are two (2) pools ranging from 3ft-7ft.

2 Shower rooms near the parking area and another 3 on the other side. That’s what I counted near the pool area.

No parking problems for they have enough ground for your your big rides.
